The SteamGuard+ utilises water only without harsh chemicals. It is compact, easy to setup in a few simple steps, and you'll be ready to deep clean any surface in your living space using the power of high pressure steam. No detergents or additives are required.

Preparation Phase

1️⃣ Open the Safety Cap: Turn the safety cap counterclockwise to open the water reservoir.

2️⃣ Add Water: Fill with no more than 250ml of water using the funnel and measuring cup (included). Using distilled water is recommended to prevent limescale buildup.

3️⃣ Secure the Cap: Close the safety cap securely by rotating it clockwise. ⚠️Safety Warning: Please ensure the cap is screwed on tightly before use to prevent steam from escaping.

4️⃣ Attach Accessories: Select the appropriate cleaning nozzle, brush or accessory (10 included) based on the surface you're cleaning and install it onto the device.

Operation Phase

5️⃣ Power On: Plug the device into a power outlet.

6️⃣ Heat Up: Wait 3–5 minutes for the device to build up internal pressure and reach the necessary cleaning temperature.

7️⃣ Deep Clean: Press the trigger to release pressurised steam onto the target area. For tough grime like grease or grout, use the Nylon Round Brush to provide mechanical scrubbing.

Finishing Touches

The "Wipe" Rule: Steam blasts dirt to the surface but doesn't always remove it. Immediately wipe the area with a microfiber cloth to lift away the loosened "sludge".

Refilling (Safety Note): If you need more water, unplug the device and let it cool down before attempting to open the safety cap to avoid any remaining steam pressure.

1. Heating and Pressurization

When you pour water into the internal reservoir and turn the device on, an internal heating element brings the water to a boil. Because the tank is a sealed environment, the steam cannot escape, which builds up significant internal pressure. This allows the steam to reach temperatures well above 100°C (212 °F).

2. The Cleaning Mechanism

When you press the trigger, the pressurized "dry" steam is forced through the nozzle. It cleans via three main actions:

Heat: The high temperature melts grease, wax, and oily grime on contact.

Expansion: As the steam hits a surface, it enters microscopic pores. When it expands, it physically "blasts" dirt and debris to the surface.
